8 Remedies for Dark Knees and Elbows
Do you suffer from dark knees and elbows?
This could be a result of dead skin cells, friction, extensive exposure
to sun or a hormonal imbalance. These parts of our body don't contain
any oil glands, so it's important to protect them from dryness through
proper care and hygiene. Here are 8 effective techniques to help you
nourish your skin and remove dark patches.
1. Cucumber

getting rid of dark knees and elbows due to its bleaching properties.
Cucumber removes dead skin cells and keeps your skin moisturized.
Vitamins A and C, present in cucumbers, helps keep the skin beautiful
and fresh. Simply rub thick slices of cucumber over your elbows and
knees and leave it to set for 15 minutes. Then wash off with cold water.
You can also mix equal amounts of cucumber juice and lemon juice and
apply the mixture to your knees, elbows, and underarms. Allow the mix to
sit for 20 minutes then rinse it off.
2. Lemon and baking soda
Lemon is a fantastic ingredient that can be used to lighten the skin.
Lemons are packed with antioxidants and vitamin C which promote skin
regeneration and improve skin complexion. Meanwhile, baking soda acts as
a gentle and effective cleanser for whitening dark areas of the skin.

tablespoon of baking soda on top of the lemon and rub it onto your

the results.
