Bananas

Best time of the day: Supper The vitamin B that is found in bananas can help to support serotonin production which helps to regulate sleep. Therefore, a banana and a glass of hot milk before bed can help you get the good night’s sleep that you desire.

Meat
Best time of the day: Breakfast or lunch Some evidence has found that eating lean red meat can help to regulate your appetite. Therefore, eating red meat earlier in the day – with breakfast or lunch – may help us feel fuller for longer. 
 
Rice
Best time of the day: Lunch 
Whole grain brown rice contains plenty of calcium, fiber, magnesium, and potassium. To add to its nutritional value, it also has a low glycemic index which means that its energy content is released slowly. Therefore, this should be eaten at lunch to help keep hunger at bay.

Oranges and Apples 
Best time of the day: Breakfast or Lunch 
These are acidic foods, so they are best eaten in the morning or as a snack during the day. The reason for this is because you really wouldn’t want to go to bed on a heavy stomach.

Yogurt is high in protein and calcium, and while having a late-night snack is not the best idea, yogurt is a healthier alternative to biscuits if you’re feeling hungry in the evening. 
 
Nuts
Best time of the day: Breakfast 
Nuts are a fantastic source of protein and healthy fats. These can be added to cereals or eaten as a morning healthy snack for a great energy boost.
